When I create sites I usually create everything (excepting the CMS) from scratch myself – if nothing else because that approach brings plenty of learning opportunities. This site, however, is different – on wordpressphoto.net I need to focus on creating content. That’s why I decided to use some of the resources available. I’d like to acknowledge them and thank their authors here.
First of, this site is naturally built on the self hosted version of Wordpress. A huge thanks to the community and automattic making the platform what it is.
I use the Leviathan theme, a subtheme for Hybrid. It is made by Justin Tadlock. I’ve modified it to suit my needs better, but I estimate having saved at least 80 hours by using this excellent theme.
And last but not least, the beatiful icons used in the resource field are from a set named Token. It was made by ~brsev from DeviantArt. I found them through Smashing Magazine.
